There were two separate cars
bearing the C5 badge - the X4 from 2000 until
2007 (with a facelift in 2004 which did little
to improve its looks) and the completely new
X7 from 2007 until 2018 which used the
underpinnings of the C6 and was
the last hydropneumatic
car.
