Citroën XM Multimédia

Exhibited at the 1998 Paris Mondial de l'Automobile, the XM Multimédia is equipped with innovative communications technology.

Following in the footsteps of the Evasion "Mobile Office" and Xsara Intel, the XM Multimédia is fitted with Magneti Marelli's "Route Planner" navigation aid system which directs the driver to the destination by the quickest and most reliable route. A voice synthesiser reads out the information displayed on the dashboard below.

In the rear, an onboard computer offers access to many sources of information including the Internet, television and of course telephone.

Strikingly finished in Rouge d'Enfer paintwork with Savannah leather and Alcantara interior, the XM Multimédia is equipped with a 3 litre V6 engine offering 194 bhp @ 5 500 rpm and the electronically controlled auto adaptive gearbox plus of course Citroën's advanced computer controlled Hydractive II suspension.
