The 2CV remained essentially unchanged in 1950 although locking doors and an ignition key were provided in December 1950.
Shown at the 1950 Paris Salon, the AU ("U" for "Utile" or useful) or Fourgonette went on sale in March 1951.
In 1953, the 2CV was offered with tartan upholstery and the oval in the badge was deleted.
