Citroën displayed an exciting range of new models and concepts at the 2010 Paris Motor Show - including five world premieres for DS4; New C4; DS3 Racing (production version); DS3 WRC; and the Citroën Lacoste concept.
Continually striving to be at the forefront of meeting driver demands and introducing the latest innovative technologies and services, Citroën’s Paris show stand will:

  • Reach out to motorists looking for bold and unique design choices with the latest addition to the Company’s distinctive DS line - the multi-talented Citroën DS4.
  • Showcase Citroën’s knowledge and creativity in design, innovation and technology with the elegant and desirable New C4.
  • Extend the successful DS3 line with the dynamic and exclusive 207hp DS3 Racing.
  • Reveal Citroën’s future World Rally Championship competitor - DS3 WRC - which is set to start its Championship career in 2011.
  • Focus on the ‘essentials’ of automotive design and a lighter approach to life with the Citroën Lacoste concept - an expert blend of the worlds of motoring, fashion and sport.
  • Highlight the smart styling and equipment upgrades on the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso ranges.
  • Demonstrate a full-electric solution with the zero fuel consumption, zero CO2 emission and zero engine noise C-ZERO city car.
  • Explore future possibilities in motorsport with the striking, all-electric, 300hp Survolt racing car concept.
  • Introduce the Company’s latest technology and services, including e-HDi with Stop & Start, Citroën’s new e-Touch Emergency & Assistance System and Citroën Facility.

Thanks to the application of the latest ‘Créative Technologie’, Citroën’s new eTouch Emergency & Assistance System has been awarded the prestigious Euro NCAP Advanced accolade at the Paris Motor Show. The Euro NCAP Advanced Reward recognises Citroën’s drive to improve safety and security through the application of this new technology.

The Citroën eTouch Emergency & Assistance system will be available in the UK on New C4, C5 and DS3 models, as well as C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso.

The innovative eTouch system features an automatic SOS emergency call function in the event of an accident. Drivers also have the ability to manually call for assistance and roadside recovery by pressing a separate ‘Double Chevron’ button. With its integrated GPS and SIM card, the innovative Citroën eTouch system sends the exact location of the stranded vehicle to a central call centre.

The multi-function eTouch System also delivers a range of useful monitoring services for owners. The system allows drivers to consult information online in their ‘MyCITROËN’ personal space, which enables them to monitor their vehicle’s maintenance requirements and to receive advice on improving their fuel economy.

These services are free and available 24-7.
