Citroën UK 1997 Xsara Range

Citroën UK states "On sale from 1 November, the Xsara will be launched in a range of sixteen five door models offering a wide variety of petrol and diesel engines, an automatic version and a choice of four high value specification levels - Xsara L, LX, SX and top of the range Exclusive. All are designed to appeal to buyers of mainstream family cars such as the Ford Escort, Vauxhall Astra and VW Golf."

"Xsara's interior boasts the longest cabin length in the class. Similar in size to vehicles from a class above, the Citroën Xsara offers motorists ample elbow, leg and head room for a full complement of adults. High levels of equipment include air conditioning fitted as standard on half the range, rake and reach adjustable steering wheel, steering wheel mounted stereo controls, door open warning display, power steering, RDS stereo radio/cassette, air recirculation and a pollen filter. The Xsara Exclusive models also include automatic rain sensitive windscreen wipers and a CD autochanger."
