In the summer of 1967 production of the
Citroën Dyane
started.
The Dyane was Citroën’s answer to the popular
Renault 4 which was launched in 1961 and made
inroads into sales of the
2CV. Like the Renault 4, the Dyane was designed
from the outset as a
five door hatchback. Far more
'styled' than the 2CV, it was
intended as a more upmarket and civilised
2CV.
To celebrate this event, a meeting
was held in the
village of Longbridge Deverill in Wiltshire,
England on 23rd - 24th
September 2017 followed by a drive to Stourhead.
